Inspiré par les effets d'optique et l'illusion de la profondeur de vue dans certaines peintures de Bridget Riley, les bandes abstraites horizontales sur le verre fritté ont été conçues pour mettre l'accent sur le flux du bâtiment. De vastes panneaux solaires couvrent une partie du toit et fournissent l'eau chaude pour les cuisines et la piscine. Les tentes elles-mêmes sont constituées de 3 couches distinctes de toiles pour améliorer les qualités d'isolation thermique et acoustique et d'accélérer l'expulsion de l'air chaud. Les parois de la tente ont une couche de 2 inches de matériaux isolant. Les planchers sont isolés et recouverts de pierre naturelle pour améliorer le refroidissement en été et une isolation contre les pertes de chaleur en hiver. Les tentes sont positionnées pour minimiser la charge thermique sur le chauffage solaire.
