L'entrée principale au 11 rue des gravelliers plonge les visiteurs directement dans un parcours artistique, une galerie photo de 15 mètres de long avant d'atteindre l'accueil. Cette galerie sera un condensé des plus belles oeuvres photographiques présentées précédemment dans diverses galeries parisiennes, une façon de faire découvrir des artistes à un autre public.

Le Jules & Jim est composé de 23 chambres réparties dans 3 bâtiments disposés autour de 2 cours pavées et d'un bar ouvert à tous. Un havre de paix verduré en plein Paris avec son  mur végétal, insoupçonnable depuis la rue.

Subtil mariage d'un meuble bar en  HI-MACS^® rétro-éclairé, d'une bibliothèque en inox et noyer massif et d'un parquet ancien (récupéré lors de la démolition), la salle de petit-déjeuner / bar ouvre sur une belle cour pavée, centre névralgique de l'hôtel, où crépite un bon feu de cheminée en hiver.

Une bibliothèque de 150 oeuvres littéraires, de bandes dessinées et de livres d'art est à la disposition des hôtes. 

La programmation musicale des lieux a été créée par Béatrice Ardisson et reflète tout l'esprit du Jules & Jim.

Un soin particulier a été apporté à l'insonorisation, à l'occultation de la lumière, au confort intime et à la qualité ultime de la literie. Les matériaux sont simples et durables: verre, bois massif, pierre, béton brut, et HI-MACS^®. Le traitement de la lumière est inédit et doux comme une bougie... Vous êtes chouchoutés comme à la maison, avec wifi gratuit, dock iPod et climatisation.
Les  chambres HI-MACS^® situées dans l'immeuble principal de 8 étages sont conçues selon un concept original et inédit: la penderie, les WC, la douche et la vasque sont placés aux 4 angles de l'espace. Le centre de la pièce est habillé d'une coque composite (pierre et résine) rétro-éclairée accueillant un lit spacieux et confortable.

Meuble de réception dessiné par l'architecte d'intérieur Natacha Froger, fabriqué par l'artisan ébéniste Christophe Feugnet et plaqué d'une oeuvre unique de l'artiste portugais Gezo Marques.

Carte blanche aux artistes photographes qui ont photographié le chantier en toute liberté, les photos seront exposées dans les chambres et espaces communs de l'hôtel.

Ce projet est une réhabilitation d'un bloc de bureaux qui date d'une trentaine d'années en un hôtel-appartements design, le V Serviced Apartements Wanchai, à Hong Kong. Une des particularités de ce bâtiment est la modification de sa façade, finie en  mosaïques tri-tonales pourpres, qui brille de tous ses éclats suivant les angles de vision et les conditions climatiques.

  

Le concept: jouer métaphoriquement avec le thème "rugosité/lisse", à l'aide de matériaux, formes, textures, avec ici une peau extérieure faite de carreaux de mosaïques hexagonales tri-tonales et un intérieur lisse composé comme une caverne, avec sa courbe elliptique en pierre brut et son mobilier intégré tout en marbre poli.

 

L'entrée de "la grotte", aux parois ultra lisses et au mobilier sculpté dans du marbre, contient plusieurs fonctions, la réception, mais aussi un espace d'exposition dans le hall d'entrée. Les suspensions, telles des stalactites, parcourent le plafond.
